Alerta en México por sindemia: conjunción entre C-19, dengue e influenza.
El nuevo término médico sindemia, es la conjunción de las palabras sinergia y epidemia. En este caso aplica a la cruza entre enfermedades recurrentes por la temporada.
Los médicos alertan que para la temporada de otoño-invierno se intensificarán los casos de influenza, y con ello se genere esa cruza y surja una sindemia, una conjunción entre el Covid-19, el dengue y la influenza.
Ya se alerta a población del estado de Tamaulipas, quien se está viendo amenazado, no solo por el azote del coronavirus, sino también por el dengue, que se transmite por la picadura de mosquitos hembra, principalmente de la especie Aedes aegypti.
Daniel Carmona Aguirre, director epidemiológico de la Secretaria de Salud en Tamaulipas, afirmó que se viene un escenario peligroso, cuando esté activa la temporada más alta de dengue, en el mes de octubre.
En semanas próximas habrá una sindemia, porque se juntarán el covid-19 con el dengue y la influenza, por ello es necesario que en cuanto salga la vacuna contra la influenza se aplique, será una forma de protegerse y es importante contribuir a reducir riesgos, expuso.
Además, invitó a la comunidad tamaulipeca a deshacerse de cacharros, llantas y otros objetos, en casas y patios, que acumulen agua. Esto para evitar que se dé un criadero del mosquito transmisor.
El doctor recomendó que de presentar síntomas, asistir de manera inmediata para ser diagnosticado por un especialista, para saber, en primer lugar, qué enfermedad se tiene.
Alertó sobre los riesgos de automedicarse, ya que puede resultar peor si no se sabe ni siquiera con qué enfermedad se está lidiando.
