Aparece pez remo y tiembla: sismo de magnitud 6.4 en Filipinas.
El Philippine Daily Inquirer, periódico líder y de referencia en Filipinas fundado en 1985, informaba en su línea editorial este 20 de agosto, que por tercera vez se reportaba el avistamiento de un ejemplar de pez remo sin vida.

El también llamado el “pez de los temblores”, fue hallado por residentes de Barangay Beach en la ciudad de Gingoog, en Filipinas. Atribuían la consecuencia del terremoto que les sacudió una semana antes con magnitud de 6.6.
Posterior al avistamiento del pez más polémico del planeta, hoy los sismos volvieron a sorprender en la región asiática.

Un sismo de magnitud 6.6, ajustado posteriormente a 6.4, se presentó a las 11:23 hora local de este 6 de septiembre.

Con epicentro en el mar a 26 kilómetros al sureste, frente a las costas de Don Marcelino y a unos 18 kilómetros al este de la ciudad de Talagutong, en Davao occidental.
Registró una profundidad de 143 kilómetros, por lo que las autoridades no han tenido que emitir alerta de tsunami y han comunicado que no se han presentado problemas en la comunidad.
El Servicio Geológico de EE.UU., confirmó una magnitud de 6.3 y que no hay víctimas reportadas de momento, ni riesgo de tsunami.
