Tormenta tropical Zeta: la actividad en el Atlántico continúa.
Ha sido una temporada muy activa en la formación de ciclones en el Océano Atlántico y puede prolongarse hasta enero del 2021.
El Centro Nacional de Huracanes de los Estados Unidos, informó que hoy por la mañana se formó la tormenta tropical Zeta.
El Gobierno de Yucatán, informó que la Depresión Tropical No. 28, se desarrolló a tormenta tropical, mientras se localizaba a 561 kilómetros al sureste de Valladolid, Yucatán.
Se pronostica que se intensifique a huracán categoría 1. Por el momento, se mantiene estacionaria aproximadamente a 445 kilómetros al sureste de la Isla de Cozumel, con vientos sostenidos de 65 kilómetros por hora.
Lo anterior, debido al Frente Frío Número 8 que baja por el Mar Caribe. Esto podría fortalecer a la tormenta tropical Zeta. Por lo que se dificulta sacar un pronóstico de trayectoria confiable. Protección Civil se encuentra vigilando de manera permanente su evolución.

La tormenta tropical Zeta estaría tocando tierra, la noche del lunes o primeras horas del martes, en la zona de Playa del Carmen, en el estado de Quintana Roo.
Y sus efectos ciclónicos, se sentirían desde: Río Lagartos, en Yucatán, hasta Tulum y toda la isla Cozumel, Quintana Roo.
Estaría afectando la zona de Playa del Carmen y saliendo al Golfo de México como huracán categoría 1.
Sus bandas nubosas producirán lluvias puntuales fuertes en los estados de Yucatán, Quintana Roo, Campeche, Tabasco y Chiapas.
La reciente formada tormenta tropical Zeta se convierte en el ciclón tropical no. 27 de esta temporada 2020 en el Atlántico.
Eso quiere decir que se acaba de igualar el récord del año 2005 y aún quedan 5 semanas para que acabe la temporada. ¡Esto huele a record del año 2020!
