ONU premia startup de empresario peruano que convierte aire en agua.
La startup premiada por la ONU este 2020 persigue como objetivo captar aire y convertirlo en agua limpia.
Max Hidalgo Quinto, es el creador de la startup Yawa, su objetivo es hacer sostenibles dos de los bienes más apreciados por la humanidad: agua y oxígeno.
Hidalgo Quinto es jefe del proyecto Yawa y bachiller de la Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas de la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos de Perú.
La startup Yawa se creó con el objetico de obtener agua limpia a partir de la humedad del viento, para captar el oxígeno y separar sus partículas.
El invento ganó ya dos premios: ocupó el primer lugar del concurso “Una idea para cambiar la historia”, organizado por History Channel.
Ahora el inventor de 30 años, fue galardonado como uno de los Jóvenes Campeones de la Tierra 2020 del Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el Medio Ambiente (PNUMA).
Con el startup peruano Yawa, Hidalgo busca transformar el aire en agua potable, por su objetivo el proyecto obtuvo $60 mil dólares.
Con el objetivo de financiarse y concluir la etapa en desarrollo para la creación de turbinas eólicas portátiles que condensen el vapor y logren convertir el viento en agua.
Yawa fue apoyada por la incubadora de empresas 1551 de la UNMSM, siendo esta última receptora de cofinanciamiento del Ministerio de la Producción.
En este concurso conpitierons otras startuo de países como Colombia, Argentina, México, Chile y Perú.
En cinco campos: energía renovable, alimentación, comunidad, salud y tecnologías aplicadas.
Implementado a gran escala, Yawa la startup, abastecerá de agua potable a más de cuatro millones peruanos en situación de extrema pobreza.
Hidalgo se convirtió en uno de los siete emprendedores a nivel mundial que recibirán financiación y asistencia para impulsar sus proyectos ambientales.
