Sismo preliminar de 5.7 azota el istmo de Tehuantepec, en Oaxaca.
Se registró un sismo preliminar de 5.7, ajustado a magnitud 5.5 con epicentro en Oaxaca, fue perceptible en la Ciudad de México.
El Servicio Sismológico Nacional, SSN por sus siglas registró un sismo preliminar este martes de magnitud 5.7 con epicentro en Oaxaca.
El sismo se localizó a 64 kilómetros al suroeste de Salina Cruz en punto de las 11:56 hora local.
Los reportes apuntan que se percibió moderadamente en algunas zonas del sur de la Ciudad de México, capital del país.
El C5 de la Ciudad de México apuntó en redes sociales que no ameritó la activación de la alerta sísmica.
Además unidades de Protección Civil de las Alcaldías de la CDMX, están en contacto con la población y hasta el momento no se reporta ninguna eventualidad.
Sin embargo, han solicitado estar al pendiente en caso de que el sismo preliminar sea parte de un evento sísmico mayor.

En Oaxaca.
El sismo, que tuvo una lectura preliminar de 5.7 en escala Richter, posteriormente fue ajustado a 5.5.
Se detectó su epicentro a 66 km al suroeste de Salina Cruz, Oaxaca, enclavado en el istmo de Tehuantepec.
Registrado el día de hoy 08 de diciembre, a las 11:56, con una Latitud 15.62 grados y una Longitud de -95.39 grados. A una profundidad de 10 kilómetros.
El sismo preliminar de 5.7 NO AMERITÓ ALERTA SÍSMICA, debido a que la estimación de energía en los primeros segundos, no superó los niveles preestablecidos.
De acuerdo con las lecturas y estimaciones del sensor más cercano, que está ubicado en la Costa de Oaxaca a tan solo 25 kilómetros al suroeste de Salina Cruz, Oaxaca.

El sismo preliminar, fue catalogado como de intensidad MODERADO y se estimó efecto LIGERO para la capital de Oaxaca, sin presencia de daños estructurales.
Y MUY LIGERO a IMPERCEPTIBLE para la Ciudad de México, sin lamentar daños estructurales o pérdidas humanas.
