En la noche del 18 y 19 de noviembre el eclipse más largo será visible en los países de América del Norte y del Sur, asegura la NASA.

Será un eclipse parcial, es decir solo una parte de la Luna se verá oscurecida.
Este 19 de noviembre podrán verlo en América, y en algunas partes de Europa y Asia, y en un reducido territorio de Australia.
En Estados Unidos será visible en los 50 estados.
En México.
Mientras que en México, el eclipse se podrá apreciar desde la noche del 18 de noviembre y se prevé que, en la mayoría países, incluido México, se pueda ver hasta en un 97 por ciento.
Para la madrugada del 19 de noviembre, el eclipse parcial se verá cuando la Luna se oscurece más notablemente.
Los amantes observadores de la Luna podrán apreciar este fenómeno natural a partir de las 7:02 hora local del centro de México.
Y será el momento exacto en que nuestro satélite natural entre en la penumbra terrestre.
La NASA pronostica que la duración aproximada del evento este 19 de noviembre será de tres horas y veintisiete minutos.
A partir de la salida de la luna a la penumbra del planeta, la hora indicada para observar el eclipse en su apogeo será a las 10:03 pm en la Ciudad de México.
El INANOE.
Por su parte, el Instituto Nacional de Astrofísica, Óptica y Electrónica (INAOE), asegura que el evento durará seis horas y dos minutos.
El INAOE, asegura que será en los primeros minutos del viernes 19 de noviembre, cuando el espectáculo dará comienza: durante la madrugada, a las 00:02, y concluirá a las 06:04 horas, tiempo del centro de México.
De acuerdo con su criterio, el máximo ocurrirá a las 03:03, que será el momento en que la Luna se adentra parcialmente en la umbra de la Tierra.
Se podrá observar en toda la República Mexicana siempre y cuando las condiciones del clima invernal lo permitan.
Eclipse lunar.
Será el 19 de noviembre, cuando la Luna en su fase máxima se apreciará con un color rojizo casi en su totalidad.
Por ello, también se le conoce como “Luna de Sangre”.
En otros países de América Latina como Colombia y Perú el fenómeno iniciará a las 03:00, mientras que en Chile, Argentina y Uruguay el momento cumbre ocurrirá pasadas las 06:00 de la mañana de su hora local.
Para apreciar este bello fenómeno natural astronómico no necesitarás un telescopio o binoculares.
Para apreciar el efecto lunar simplemente tendrás que mirar hacia el cielo hacia el horizonte del Este y disfrutar cada una de las fases de la Luna durante la noche.
Además, podrás disfrutar el momento cúspide en que el cúmulo de estrellas de las Pléyades nos regalará una lluvia de estrellas, y Júpiter y Saturno una Conjunción planetaria.
