Existen ciudades en el ártico donde las condiciones climáticas permitirán de que el resto del año no vuelvan a ver el sol.
¿Pero por que ocurre este fenómeno?
La respuesta es un poco sencilla, cada año en algunas ciudades del ártico acontece un fenómeno llamado noche polar, en Barrow una ciudad de aproximadamente 5000 habitantes, localizada al norte de Alaska cada 18 o 19 de noviembre las personas se reúnen para ver la ultima puesta del sol del año.
El sol se despide por aproximadamente 66 días continuos, hasta el próximo 23 de enero del próximo año, hasta que el sol vuelve a alcanzar el horizonte.
parece complicado de creer pero es una realidad que tienen que afrontar los habitantes de esta pequeña ciudad.
No obstante Barrow, no es la única ciudad, que no tendrá sol en lo que resta del año también se encuentran: Múrmansk (Rusia) y Tromsø (Noruega).
