5.- La pareidolia es un fenómeno psicológico donde habitualmente una imagen es percibida erróneamente como una forma reconocible. Este tiburón duende parece que tuviera una cara un poco humana. Inquietante sin lugar a dudas.
6. Increiblemente este panal de avispas fue construido en unos tubos o campanas de viento lo que da como resultado esta imagen.
7.- Una planta carnívora o insectívora es una planta que obtiene parte o la mayoría de sus nutrientes mediante el consumo de protozoos y animales, especialmente insectos. Estas plantas crecen generalmente en lugares donde el suelo es pobre, especialmente en nitrógeno. Hay alrededor de 630 especies que atraen y atrapan a sus presas, producen enzimas o poseen bacterias digestivas y absorben los nutrientes resultantes.

8.- Aunque parecen pequeños craneos de duendes o hadas, en realidad se trata nada más de unas flores secas.

10.- Esta imagen digna de un poster de película de terror es simplemente una muñeca que fue colgada en un árbol y que las avispas vieron como un buen inicio para crear un panal.
11.- Otra muñeca espeluzanante, solo que aquí es un cangrejo ermitaño el que decidió transformarla en su hogar.
12.- Una colonia entera de hormigas haciendo lo posible para sobrevivir a la lluvia.
13.- No es una criatura extraterrestre es un gusano marino de la Antártida, Eulagisca gigantea, perteneciente a la familia de gusanos marinos poliquetos, también conocidos como gusanos de cerdas. Esta criatura, de unos 20 centímetros de largo y que habita en las profundidades de la Antártida, tiene un cuerpo oval rodeado de cerdas doradas y su hocico está dotado de puntiagudos dientes. ¿Se imaginan si fuera más grande?
14.- Esta oruga increiblemente desarrolló un camuflaje cuya cabeza la hace parecer una serpiente.
15.-Un nido de avispas abandonado que se fusionó con una estatua de madera creó esta imagen aterradora. Las avispas son amantes del terror al parecer.
17.- Aquí vemos un amoroso y tierno nido de búhos cosntruido con pieles de lemmings.
18.- Otra imagen que parece sacada de la película «Aliens». Pero no es más que un hongo. Se estima que existen aproximadamente 1.5 millones de especies de hongos de las cuales apenas el 5 % han sido clasificadas.
19.- Aquí vemos un tremendo escape por parte de este terrorífico ciempiés. La serpiente que se lo tragó nunca imaginó que terminaría de esta manera.
20.- Un rayo golpéo a este árbol. Muchas veces el rayo no crea un incendio de manera inmediata. En el impacto de la descarga las partes internas del árbol, o incluso las raíces más grandes bajo tierra, adquieren una elevadísima temperatura de forma súbita. Al haber tan poco oxígeno en el interior del tronco, empieza una combustión muy lenta. Pueden durar horas o días.
21.- El pez con «dientes humanos». Se trata del pez pacú o cabeza de oveja, un pez muy habitual en la costa atlántica occidental desde Nueva York hasta Brasil, con una dentadura similar a la de los humanos que les sirve para triturar y masticar.
22.- Lamentablemente este zorrito cayó a un lago y se congeló. Fue sacado y lo usaron como advertencia para que la gente se mantuviera alejada y no corrieran con la misma suerte.
