El plan era que el cohete alcanzara una órbita de 22 000 millas sobre la superficie de la tierra pero una falla mecánica en el motor superior del cohete lo dejo en la órbita baja.
El cohete no logro cumplir con las expectativas de los Rusos, según la NASASpaceflight.com. el cohete se dirigía al cementerio espacial, un lugar en el espacio de la tierra donde suelen dirigirse los satélites cuando se les termina su vida útil.
¿Donde caerá el cohete Ruso?
Es muy pronto para saber donde caerán los fragmentos del cohete, pero según los pronósticos, los restos caerán el jueves por la mañana.
Según los expertos es muy probable que las 20 toneladas del cohete, la mayor parte se desintegre en la atmósfera, la La Agencia Espacial Federal Rusa (Roscosmos) menciona que es muy probable que cuando reingrese a la tierra se desintegren y las piezas mas pequeñas caigan al mar de manera inofensiva.
