En México existe barco hundido en Cozumel «El Titanic de México»

En Cozumel, existe un barco hundido que lleva ya varios años, el barco es de la segunda guerra mundial, ahora se encuentra en las profundidades del caribe, muchas personas le apodan el Titanic de México.
El C53 Felipe Xicoténcatl está lleno de historias increíbles, actualmente cumple la función de arrecife artificial, Fue creado en 1944 por una naviera de Wilson Marine en Tampa para servir como un barco dragaminas a la Armada estadounidense.
Fue adquirido por el país en 1962 por Mexico y fue bautizado con el nombre de Felipe Xicoténcatl, patrullo hasta el año 1999, como barco cañonero en busca de armas y cargamento ilegal.
En el año 2000 fue hundido cerca del parque Chankanaa, antes de eso fue limpiado de materiales peligrosos y se convirtió en un arrecife artificial, aloja vida marina de peces, camarones, corales, estrellas de mar entre otras.
Hoy en día es un atractivo turístico.
