Joven mexicano obtiene beca para dar continuidad a sus estudios, luego de participar en un programa de la NASA.
Fue el año pasado, que el joven mexicano Misael Jiménez Hernández fue elegido para formar parte del Programa Aéreo y Espacial de la NASA.
A este pudo asistir gracias a que se llevó a cabo una campaña de recaudación de fondos, mismos que usó para su sostén en EE. UU.
Esto llevó a que ahora el joven mexicano de 22 años recibiera una beca del 100% en Harvard para la continuación de sus estudios.
El joven mexicano Misael, originario de Querétaro, se convirtió en un orgullo mexicano en 2022, esto al ser uno de los 60 jóvenes de todo el mundo elegidos para el programa espacial de la NASA.
En ese momento, cursaba la carrera de Ingeniería en Robótica y Sistemas Digitales en el Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Querétaro.
El programa tuvo un costo de 3.500 dólares, que recaudó vendiendo gorras desde sus propias redes sociales y mediante donaciones.
También contó con el apoyo de la organización Other People, quienes crearon la campaña «MASA»: una línea de playeras con el logo de la NASA, pero con una ‘M’ de México.

El logro puso de Misael lo puso en la mira de los reclutadores de talento, por lo que ahora tendrá la oportunidad de continuar sus estudios en una de las universidades más prestigiosas del mundo, ¡y con beca completa!
La División de Ingeniería de la Facultad de Medicina de Harvard se acercó al joven mexicano para ofrecerle la posibilidad de incorporarse a su programa de investigación en Ingeniería y Robótica.
Así, el joven mexicano entró en un riguroso proceso de selección donde debía demostrar sus habilidades en programación y desarrollo de hardware.
Misael Jiménez se destacó entre los demás candidatos y fue aceptado en la división de Ingeniería de la Facultad de Medicina de Harvard. Esto le permitirá formar parte de una selecta comunidad de investigadores y ser beneficiario de una beca del 100% en Harvard mientras estudia en Boston.
