El mismo podrá ser visto como eclipse total de sol en Bolivia, Brasil, Ecuador, Paraguay, Perú y Uruguay.
Mientras que en Argentina como en Chile lo podrán disfrutar los habitantes de determinadas regiones.
Será el próximo 14 de diciembre, señalado como un día especial para todos los fanáticos de los astros en Sudamérica.
Este fenómeno no se repetirá hasta el año 2048. El evento comenzará con un eclipse parcial.
Y podrá apreciar cómo lentamente la Luna va tapando al Sol, hasta colocarse frente al mismo, en un evento que durará sólo dos minutos.
En otros lugares, solo será apreciado de manera parcial. También puedes apreciarlo en la plataforma digital de la NASA.
En México.
En México, fue hace 29 años, cuando la noche llegó a las 13:24 horas sobre Ciudad de México, a consecuencia de un eclipse total de sol, el 11 de julio de 1991.

Se observa un eclipse total de Sol en México y Centroamérica. La fase de totalidad en algunos lugares fue de casi 7 minutos, uno de los más largos del siglo XX

Y para el 8 de Abril de 2024 será la oportunidad del pueblo mexicano de ver un eclipse total de Sol.
La senda de la totalidad pasará muy cerca de Monterrey donde lo veremos oscurecerse por un 95.4%.
También lo verán en su totalidad será en: Torreón, Mazatlán, Durango, Monclova y Piedras Negras.
