Frente Frío No. 4 causará inestabilidad climatológica en gran parte del territorio mexicano.
El Servicio Meteorológico Nacional, SMN, y la Comisión Nacional del Agua, Conagua, pronostican para la temporada de Frentes Fríos 2020-2021, un total de 54 sistemas frontales en México.
La temporada tendrá una duración de septiembre 2020 a mayo 2021, incluye 14 tormentas invernales. Estos frentes están por encima de la media anual de 44 fenómenos.

Esta semana, el Frente Frío Número No. 4, impactará principalmente la parte del noreste, occidente, centro y oriente del territorio nacional.

Generará precipitaciones muy fuertes en varios estados de la República, así como un descenso acentuado de las temperaturas.
En un comunicado del SMN se advierte que el fenómeno ya se extiende sobre el centro de EEUU, e ingresará a México durante la madrugada del lunes. En su avance por el territorio nacional, se cruzará en el camino con una vaguada prefrontal.
LLUVIAS EN GRAN PARTE DEL TERRITORIO MEXICANO.
Se espera que el lunes por la tarde provoque lluvias intensas: en Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Puebla, Veracruz y Oaxaca.
Lluvias de puntuales a muy fuertes en: Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Hidalgo, Michoacán, Guerrero y Chiapas.
Y lluvias puntuales fuertes en: el Estado de México, Morelos, Tlaxcala y Tabasco.
Además, el organismo climático de la Comisión Nacional del Agua (Conagua) informó que las precipitaciones podrán ir acompañadas de descargas eléctricas y posibles granizadas.
Debido a la masa de aire que impulsa al evento se registrará un marcado descenso de temperaturas, y podrían presentarse heladas en algunas poblaciones de la Mesa del Norte, así como bancos de niebla en las entidades del noreste.
Los vientos podrían alcanzar velocidades de hasta 60 kilómetros por hora en Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, Zacatecas, Durango, Aguascalientes, Jalisco, Guanajuato y Querétaro.
Las rachas podrían empeorar durante la noche y superar los 80 kilómetros por hora, con oleaje que se moverá entre los tres y los cinco metros en costas de Tamaulipas y norte de Veracruz.
